I just found this video called Gluten-Free Christmas and thought it was pretty funny. I love all the photos of the old-time holiday foods — so much gluten! Thank goodness we’ve got great gluten-free recipes these days… but I still wouldn’t want a fruitcake!
If you didn’t find this funny… if it made you depressed, perhaps you should read my article from last year:

That was FUNNY! Now I’m off to bake some gluten free, egg free, nut free gingerbread people. Thanks for the laugh.

“Mounds of Christmas joy, at least we’ve got soy”
Sarah Schatz - GF/CF menu planner for people with food allergies says
I found it funny but probably at some point I maybe wouldn’t have because it can be pretty sad not to be able to eat what others can enjoy. I spent christmas at my inlaws and I didn’t get to have anything else besides turkey, cranberries and veggies. I didn’t have time to bake anything. But I was okay with it.
Also, too bad they only talk about soy as an alternative because soy that is unfermented has enzyme inhibitors in it that can cause problems. Tempeh, miso and natto are good but not the regular beans or tofu or milk. the soy industry has done a good job at making us think it’s a good alternative but it’s not!
